Trader Celeste
The Root of the Matter
Celeste gives you The Root of the Matter: reach the Research Building, find the Experimental Seed Sample in the seed vault, and deliver it to her in that order during one raid. You receive Succulent (Backpack Charm) and 8000 XP.
All in one raid
The objectives only count if you finish all of them in the same raid. Die or extract early and you start over, so plan the route before you drop in.
Step by step
In this order
-
Go to the Research Building
Drop into Buried City and reach the Research Building. This is the first objective, so complete it before searching for the seed vault.
In game Go to the Research Building
-
Search the seed vault
In the Research Building, search for the seed vault in the "room with a great view". Find the Experimental Seed Sample before extracting.
In game Search for the seed vault in the "room with a great view"
-
Deliver the Experimental Seed Sample to Celeste
Extract with the Experimental Seed Sample, then deliver it to Celeste. All three objectives must be completed in the same raid, so dying or extracting before finishing the quest starts it over.
In game Deliver the Experimental Seed Sample to Celeste
Quest, item and place names as the game shows them in the language you pick. The newest quests may still show in English. Quest data checked against MetaForge, ardb.app, RaidTheory.
