GTA 6 PlayStation listings point to direct sex scenes

PlayStation Store listings mention sex scenes in GTA 6

The New Zealand and Australian PlayStation Store pages for Grand Theft Auto 6 describe the game as containing “sex scenes,” according to reporting published on 2 October 2026. The New Zealand listing and the Australian version are the basis for the claim, but the description has not been independently confirmed in a full public listing from the relevant ratings boards.

The UK PlayStation Store page uses different wording, marking GTA 6 with a sex-content symbol and describing sexual content. The UK listing shows the rating information, although the symbol alone does not establish how explicit any scene will be.

Rockstar has not confirmed how explicit the scenes are

The store descriptions may be incomplete or affected by embargoed ratings information. The ESRB, PEGI and Australian ratings logos appear on the PlayStation Store pages, yet separate searchable entries were not available on those organisations' websites when the reports were published on 2 October 2026.

“Sex scenes” also does not necessarily mean that GTA 6 will show fully explicit intercourse. The PEGI sex symbol appears on games including Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, both of which contain graphic sexual scenes, while The Blood of Dawnwalker reportedly has sexual content and partial nudity without that same symbol.

Jason and Lucia's romance gives the report a story basis

GTA 6 follows Jason and Lucia, a couple whose romantic relationship is a major part of the story. An official trailer also appears to show the beginning of an intimate scene at approximately 1:12. Rockstar has not separately confirmed that the moment develops into a complete sex scene, but the relationship and trailer give the store wording a clear narrative context. GTA 6 could move beyond San Andreas and GTA 4

If the listing is accurate, GTA 6 would be the first mainline Grand Theft Auto designed to depict sexual intercourse directly. GTA: San Andreas previously caused controversy when a mod restored a removed sex mini-game known as Hot Coffee. Later games included sexual encounters with sex workers, nudity and obscured intimacy, while The Ballad of Gay Tony, the GTA 4 expansion, showed a brief clothed encounter rather than a fully direct scene.

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on 19 November 2026. For players choosing whether the game fits their preferred content level, the current evidence points to stronger sexual material than earlier GTA releases, but the store labels still do not reveal the scenes' length, frequency or explicitness.
