GamesBeat reports that Rockstar Games is targeting a PC release for Grand Theft Auto 6 in Q1 2027, meaning somewhere between January and March. The report, published on October 13, 2026, is based on four anonymous industry sources familiar with Rockstar's plans. Rockstar did not respond to GamesBeat's request for comment, so this is a reported window rather than a confirmed date.

Rockstar's announced console launch remains November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A January-to-March PC release would place the computer version roughly two to four months after consoles, according to coverage from T-Break, Wccftech and Gematsu. Eurogamer describes the gap as two to five months, so the exact length depends on the eventual PC launch day.

There is no announced PC date, storefront, price or hardware requirement. Take-Two's current pre-order announcement lists the November 19, 2026 console date but does not announce a PC edition. Players can revisit the official GTA 6 trailer, but Rockstar has not used that material to confirm the reported PC schedule.

The reported gap would be far shorter than GTA 5's

GTA 5 launched on consoles in September 2013 and reached PC in April 2015, a delay of about 19 months. Red Dead Redemption 2 arrived on consoles on October 26, 2018, before its PC release on November 5, 2019. Against those examples, a Q1 2027 GTA 6 port would represent a much shorter wait for PC players.

Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has indicated that GTA 6's multiplayer could arrive in 2027, although Rockstar has not officially announced the mode or its launch date. That timing has prompted speculation that the PC release and multiplayer launch could be connected, but the available reports do not establish that they will arrive together.
